TV- Karte - erster Erfahrungsbericht

Hallo Liste,
hier nun der versprochene Erfahrungsbericht zu meiner neuen digitalen Sat- TV-
Karte (kurz: DVB-S). Seit kurzen versuche ich nun die "WinTV-Nova-S-Plus" von
Hauppauge in Gang zu kriegen. Bisher leider mit wenig Erfolg. :-)
Da habe ich nun schon vorher extra bei www.linuxtv.org & Co. nachgeschaut, was
eigentlich so unterstützt werden sollte, aber es scheint nichts genützt zu
haben. Weil der Treiber für das Gerät sich nicht installieren ließ (Fehler
beim make) habe ich schon den Kernel und seine Quellen geupdated, aber auch
das brachte leider keine Besserung.
Die Modellbezeichnung dieser Budget- Karte für den PCI- Slot ist übrigens 794.
Im Anhang habe ich einige weitere technische Daten beigefügt.
Hat jemand vielleicht 'nen Tip für mich???
