Segmentation Fault

Weiss jemand, warum folgender Code jedesmal einen segfault erzeugt?

#include <typeinfo>
#include <iostream>

int main ()
{
	ostream& x = cout;
	typeid(x);
}
---------------------
Bei allen anderen ostream Objekten läuft das Ganze wie geschmiert.
